it's default with the exception of leave corpse when destroyed was changed to false. It works most times but messes up once in a while as described leaving bags all over the place!!!!!! after the event the server is playable again without restarting it but I typically have to leave the game and come back later as the screen is frozen from continuous degrading ....... aka continuous spawns ... perhaps create a safety max hard coded?

I reverted back to version 3.0.6 for this very reason. Players said literally thousands of zombies spawning, stretched out, bags everywhere and the server ground to a halt.

One moment. Are you sure that thousands of zombies are spawning? This plugin spawns zombies near players and as soon as a zombie is killed it is respawned somewhere else near to a player. If there are only 1 or 2 players on the server then all the zombies will be spawned around those players. You can change this by setting "Minimum pop for near player spawn"

This can help prevent players from being swarmed at lower pop.

Upon closing rust (Ctrl_Alt-Del) is the only way to get out at this point. and rejoining I found hundreds and hundreds of bags around where players were. I mean there were a crazy amount of bags. I took a screen shot but not sure how to upload it here. The bags should also not be there because the players did not kill them, game is unplayable. So possibly they (or just some) are spawning and dying and in a continuous respawn/die loop or it's just spawning too many to begin with not sure because you can't move to see what is going on.

Try reducing the number of zombies to something small and lmk if it still happens.

Honestly at first I thought someone that joined the server had done something via rcon since we're still setting it up but no.

Same thing as previous posters.
It worked maybe 10 nights in a row then around 1am they started to rubberband the graphics. Both me and GF rust "client" fps dipped all the way down to under... 1 FPS until the bodies turned into bags (Running a very high end system, normally run this at 4k hdr around 120 FPS, with DLSS)

After a few minutes of zombies rubber banding we quit server & game and reloaded, same thing right when logging in. Waited a few more mins, once body > bag, lag was all gone.  And there was definitely thousands of bags surrounding the house.  (We have the spawn pop of both set to just 20, but min pop for near player is in fact 0)

Unable to tell if they are spawning in dead, definitely tried to look, but they were all rubberband and/or invisible. 

When it started we had both just finished chucking.... probably about 20 grenades from our roof killing quite a lot of them, so it's like it said screw the limit and went nuts on respawns.

I just uninstalled it until the issue is sorted. 

Just happened again. Had to stop the server uninstall the plugin and restart it.

I'll be posting another update shortly to hopefully solve this issue and adding the ability to decrease the bodybag despawn time.

This is still an issue.. just had my server FPS drop to single digits. I reverted to Night Zombies 0.90. Here's a screenshot with Admin Radar enabled, showing all of the dropped backpacks. The config was mostly default. I had enabled zombies spawning around players, distance of min 65 max 125. Other players on my server report similar occurances.

From what I see, the issue isnt with zombies spawning, its when the corpses are spawning. The code has it where zombies do not die, they teleport to another location and a corpse is spawned where you "killed" the zombie. It seems like a loop forms every now and then causing corpses to continuously spawn. I have created a version of this mod for those that are interested. Please feel free to PM me for those who want to give it a whirl.
