Ever since the last update. When placing foundations (which has been all I have tried) the server crashes. I remove the zone and building is fine and the server wont crash. Each update for Rust and Oxide has been the same outcome, server crashing when building in zone. 

Im not sure if this has to do with any of the hooks being disabled.

Pretty sure it has EVERYTING to do with some hooks being disabled :)

The only one I can think of is onentitybuilt, but j thought it was fixed in the latest patches. Oh well

Yup. That crashes server too sometimes. 

Yes this is what I mantioned to Wulf in another post. I been unloading zone manager, building, then re loading zonemanager. Also building outside a zone isn't a problem. 
So in general, players don't build inside a zone anyway, but you need to make sure your building blocked area extends beyond the zone so people cant build after you load zone manager.

Obviously zone manager is awesome even if this issue persists. 
So just get your admin structures up like arenas, shops, rifle ranges, then load zone manager.

It isn't zone manager only. I just unloaded it and the server just crashed again the same way.
This is driving me crazy because I just built roughly 7x7 9 floor with bgrade working now w/o zone manager and no problems.
Even with zone manager for a while. Now zonemanager is unloaded and it just crashed again.

Also pasting a base in the zone is no problem FYI.

The other opotion is do server.save every time you get a little done. At least when it crashes, you won't lose up to 5 minutes at a time.

i'm getting the same issues try to build in a nobuild zone as admin and server kicks the bucket, gonna try some of the techniques mentioned above but i hope it's fixed soon this has to be one of the most useful plugins ever

I've been getting the same issues since the update on Thursday. I actually just gave up. I have zone manager plugin installed but I have no zones created until it gets fixed. 

The only issue I have is when i build in the zone. I have removed the zone, and building is fine. The only problem with that is, I dont want players building in the zone area while the zone is off. Often times players build right outside the zone. But the zones I create are pretty large so they arent building right by the stuff I built.

On another note: its just annoying to have to remove and replace ... :) so Im just waiting for this issue to be fixed.

Just put cupboard coverage overlapping zone. Problem you have to make the zone rotated properly and make it tight. Use foundations to extend cubby area where needed.

I use building wrapper, and a wider zone to cover outside, works just fine for me.i just have to move zones to build in that area.

Hi, 70 crashes on 3 days (with above 20-30 players on line) ... All my crashes seemed to be related when a player builds in a place that is part of a zone, even without a function... 

I have tested to build in a vierge zone with no flags nothing. Same problem crash server with no log error in a few seconds.

I have disable ZoneManager and for the moment 0 crash on 12H.

Here too, since the ZoneManger is disabled, no crashes anymore and on a other Server too
