When you say uMod, do you mean the uMod tool (Agent) or the uMod install for the game itself? The link I provided would purely be for updating the Agent, the other steps would still need to be followed to install the actual core and mod for the game. https://umod.org/games/valheim/guide

Right now the game is pre-patched, but we'll be moving to self-patching on the server directly when our new patching method is finalized.

FYI: Moving the files manually worked.

Yeah no problem, glad we finally solved it, I didn't bother to check the files as I assumed it was just doing a thing. I will try out some plugins and let you know how I get on. Dont mind being a test dummy if you want me to try stuff out etc.

If it happens again where files appear to be in the same directory, please let us know which version of the Agent you're using

We will be moving away from distributing modified files, so they will not be a thing like it was with Oxide soon and would require our agent.

The agent also handles downloading and managing the many files that are part of uMod, there's more to it than with Oxide.

It is possible for you to download the files you want manually, but you'd be having to keep about 100 or so files up-to-date manually.

We may create a single executable to download for the agent, but the agent will be the only supporter way still.

There are a good few hosts that have already implemented support for uMod, is there an issue you have?

ok i dont get it

umod install --game=valheim --filter=core --os=linux --prerelease --skip-dd

umod install --game=valheim --filter=apps --os=linux --prerelease --skip-dd

and he is all the time trying to install the gameserver itself. What command should i use for a simple full umod installation only for the umod files without server files ?

As per this page, the "umod" filter should get the "core" and the "apps".  "game" or "server" will download the game from Steam.

So just ran umod updater again and the valheim_server_Data folder have ended up inside the Manager folder again.

UPDATE: Does it everytime. You can see the ROOT folder is 112 and you can see that on Powershell.
