Since the update I get this:

assets/rust.ai/agents/stag/stag.prefab failed to sample navmesh at position (59.1, 40.1, -564.1) on area: Walkable

(12:07:10) | "SetDestination" can only be called on an active agent that has been placed on a NavMesh.

I run two custom maps, on one map "Dreamland" by Gruber i do not get the error in the console at all.

On the map Oasis" by Firecrow i get it a million times, (slight exageration but its so fast i see nothing else)

I have placed three filters in rust admin:
(1.) "SetDestination" can only be called on an active agent that has been placed on a NavMesh.
(2.) assets/rust.ai/agents
(3.) "Stop" can only be called on an active agent that has been placed on a NavMesh.

This has stopped the erros showing in the Rust Admin console, but does nothing to stop the errors in the server Console.

So i don't know that it is a facepunch issue.

If anyone is getting these on a procedual map please specify as i would be interested to know given i only run custom maps, and it if it is the map i run i will not run "Oasis again"

I feel it is having a negative effect on the frame rate and i would like to avoid this in the future.

I'm not sure if the map maker has just done a quick edit to make the map HDRP ready given that its their only map they say is ready, yet say nothing on their website, and still have their other maps for sale even though they are not HDRP compatible.

I am using a procedural (live) map seed from RustIO and get these "errors" in the console infrequently, they dont seem to do anything and i anticipate they might be a FP thing,

I dont understand the "key" thing , i have checked all my plugins (unloaded/reloaded) and get it anyway.

A correction. The update I mention is an update to the Oxide version not the Rust version. The person who moved the post to here removed that part

If I diasable animal movement the error stops. I also get "assets/rust.ai/agents/stag/stag.prefab failed to sample namesh at postion (-1216.7 , 22.8 , 1218.1 on area: Walkable

EDIT: I can use "del assets/rust.ai/agents/stag/stag.prefab" and it removes the stags and the error stops. I can live with that till they fix it. I did try to reset Animals but yet to find any stags. Still have bear,wolf,chickens and hogs.

EDIT EDIT: Confirmed using the animal reset stags have spawned and the error has stopped. However for how long remains to be seen. I'll post back later with an update.

The error returned after an hour however it reported chickes this time. Used the same del with chikens stopped it again.

Having the same error here too, I think it's happening on certain maps, I just had a map wipe, The prevuos mapa was fine.

Happening with wolf and chicken for me.

This works as a quick temp fix for us. Pick which animal is spamming your console.     Thank you.

i am still getting this error spam everyday.

When I do see it, I use the command for the appropriate animal. It does not seem to be affecting performance.
