Example:
I chat with a mate in either team or global, 9/10 messages i type, shows in chat.
the 10th one doesnt appear in chat, but i can see it in RCON and my mate can also see it?
Also sometimes when people join, or [Raidable bases spawn] (anything that would show in chat) doesnt appear for me, but it does in RCON.
I dont use any chat plugins on my server.
I can also see them at my discord server.
What on earth is going on? - i reinstalled Rust yesterday.

Sometimes you can notice that chat icon is "above" another one and "blinking", or how can I call it ))))

i had the same problem tonight with a memeber who couldnt see the chat, he had to set to OFF the interface option for cut Global chat to Off. Sorry i have the game in french, so its something like that maybe in english.
Does anyone know if it also happens on Vanilla?

i can confirm this to be true there is deffinetly somethign wrong with the plugin i have 7 servers and same issue ona ll sometimes when you wrrite anything in chat it dosent come up only happend since thursdayd update
I've been having the issue with the Sept. 3 update, will be updating to today's release soon, so I'll report back if it changes anything. This is what I have found out.
- It most definitely seems to be BetterChat related. I was seeing the error on both servers I run. I unloaded BetterChat and nothing else, and the problem went away.
- The missing messages still go through. In the logs they still show up, and other people can see them. But it appears to be mostly for the user themselves that sends the message, it doesnt show up for them. But the game still registers it. So if its a /command, it still goes through even if the notification of the command doesnt show up for the user.
In the contrary, plugin did his job, and everyone can see the message, but the client (Rust) is glitching and don't show the message (I see it like this) to it's sender.
And I repeat once again, notifications from other plugins like NTeleportation, for example, are glitching this way too.

I agree. i can see the message repeated in RustAdmin consol and the recipient will reply or the /cmd will work but it sometimes does not show for me in chat. It is not that much of a problem and will probably remedy itself after game updates
