Btw why when downloading Discord Extension for example have the keep option directly on my downloads bar when pressing ^ while for Plugins files (99% of the stuff you actually download here) only see the Learn More when press ^ and have to keep them from the downloads tab? Weird... What I mean is that they block probably some specific filetypes harder than others...
Google Chrome flagging plugin downloads
Unsure, didn't notice the extension also had an issue, but will add that to the ticket.Flammable

Yeah sure. Thanks.
I just mentioned the extension as а comparison to the plugins. Both are blocked but .cs files are more hardly restricted.

The DLL one just means that it hasn't been downloaded a lot, so it's seen as somewhat "Unknown"; same happens with our .zip files hosted on GitHub sometimes.
Been using this site and Chrome for years. It just started happening to me today. Weird.

Rough times. If it helps, it's easily sidestepped for now. Instructiuons for Chrome on PC --> https://imgur.com/a/dcBnE0A
WTf is going on? Right now downloaded 2 plugins -> Craftingstore got a dangerous warning we all know and complain while TimedPermission downloaded fine instantly... Sheeesh...
just a notice Wulff, it's back again.
For me, it was always back so it's like the normal download mode... One day will wonder what's wrong when it's fixed :D

For those that do actually read and do actually care about this issue. I might have something you would be interested in. Recently, I downloaded operaGX. its neato. Fast browser, a page tab section where games are free, what's going to be released, news, and such. It's worth checking it out as a replacement for chrome if chrome keeps going like dis.
( its not advertisement, i just would like to share my findings )

@Wulf So, after some days of digging, I have found some interesting information you might wanna know about. Apparently, back in May 2021, a windows 10 update was been pushed that started the beginning of a big fuss. All users with Windows 10 that have updated the May 2021 patch, would be having issues with google chrome.
Full crashing browsers, freezes, huge RAM eating, and other common issues. ( i can remember that I had some solid startup issues with several unity games due to my RGB controller software those days. )
Apparently, this issue has been reported at Microsoft as it was a windows 10 issue. They however have left it on the side. Now, here comes the best part. The reason why everything is all of a sudden so protected is due to the 0-day hack.
New windows users that are downloading Google Chrome browser for the first time will also be warned about the potential risks of using google chrome and if we would have to talk about the Windows 11 version of chrome.. well, let's not begin on that.
if I read all this, I would advise thinking twice when using chrome for now. Sources, where I have this information from, is the verge and Forbes.

I personally moved on to Edge, but still dealing with the Chrome issue. They've escalated the case though, so we'll see if we get any details from them.
I still use Chrome, but this issue is no longer happening to me. It would make sense if it were more consistent, but this is just weird.
They are unflagging it ever few days on my request.Philoludos
