Google Chrome flagging plugin downloads
@Majaspokla I was looking right now to find this thread when you replied too... Yeah, this annoying issue is back again. It's nothing harmful but only pissing you off when want to download some plugins.
Not sure if was a feature before but Chrome removed it completely... When you have blocked the file and hit the ^ arrow for more options I only see Learn More now but before was able to keep the file which was still fine Now have to go into the download tab every time. Hope they do not remove Keep File completely soon...
I've contacted Google about it again, unfortunately they don't really give any info about it otherwise. It's either Chrome being too sensitive about .cs files, or someone is maliciously flagging them. I don't see any issues with getting the flag removed, though I'm hoping they can work out a more permanent solution so we aren't back here every few weeks with the same issue.Flammable

So, i removed a cookie called "XSRF-token" and i could instantly download it ( the plugin ) again. @Flammable do you have such cookie as well?
if this is correct tho... uhm.. wulf... u should look into that asap. That ain't good.
That is an authentication token and shouldn't affect it working or not. It would however cause issues for anything utilizing it for authentication if removed.Majaspokla

Soo, i just read that google cloud was being a B again. Could this be the cause that it could be temp false flagged? Last time we had this issue, there was also some problems at google that day.

After i reinsalled windows and fresh downloaded chrome i tried to download plugin and chrome said "That site is considered as dangerous and we are not recommending to visit it". Also its not allowing me to download files from here for same reason

For now the options are to either use a different browser, disable "safe browsing", or clicking Keep via the Downloads tab in Chrome.

I submitted two cases over the past few days via different methods, but no contact yet and the issue doesn't even show up under their panel to directly trigger a review of the issue.
Idk but I give up... today is fine tomorrow is broken, then again the same broken, fixed, broken, fixed... And most of the time is broken btw... Hope Google Chrome fix this shit. Why from 1+ years visiting uMod and downloading plugins was fine and only last 1-2 months ended up with this shit... damn What the f*ck they update in this browser every couple of days?
Yeah, it's been fine for years, so unsure why they decided without warning to do this. We did tweak some things though, but still have to wait for them to fix the current flags. For now if just disable or lower the "safe browsing" setting else use an alternative browser.Flammable

Downloads appear to be working fine again, and hopefully will remain that way! Sorry for any inconvenience, never fun for us either!
