The oxide folder is created automatically when you start the server with Oxide installed. If the server starts but no folder is created, you do not have Oxide installed else it was uninstalled by your setup.
ok how do i do this properly so it does show up ty

Do you have a script that runs Steam each start? If so, that would be uninstalling Oxide. Installing Oxide is pretty simple, most hosts provide buttons to do so and local installs are a simple extract and overwrite.
it runs the bootstrap thing on start up is that it if so how do i stop it

Should just be a matter of re-installing Oxide. After each Steam update you do, Oxide needs to be re-installed.
ok i got the oxide folder to show up now how would i add the plugins in to streamline server host

You'd upload them to your oxide/plugins folder on your host, either via FTP (if your host provides it) or their control panel (generally via a file manager).

In response to gmodster ():ok i got the oxide folder to show up now how would i add the plugins in to streamline server host I also use Streamline and they have made updating the server quite easy, You shutdown the server then click on the "Patch Steam/Oxide update button" and it will ask you whether you want to update the files.you say yes and thats it , it will tell you when its complete and the close the box,
All permissions (if you set them to "true" in config) for plugins that use them (not all do) are entered in chat or rcon console. you dont actually add to the server anywhere except in where you make them true or false in the plugin configs, if you set it to false then everyone can use the plugin without any permission.
To add plugins to the streamline server go to file manager folder and open these folders server then streamline then oxide and go to plugins, when you open that folder you click on upload and it give you an option to browse to where you have downloaded the plugin (*downloads) you click on the plugin and it will upload and confirm it.
I use RustAdmin as it does most of the things i want it to do.
BTW: Streamline has an excellent support team so you can open a ticket for most things and get a reply in a short time.
ok cool i cannot for the life of me get the home tp plugins to work at all it wont show up in config after i install it in plugins
