Hi guys, automatic update is out! Let me know if it's working (requires restarting your server once).

I shut off my server, uninstalled, then reinstalled. Started my server and am still getting the same errors as before.

I would try again but I've already had to kick everyone out once :D

Update: Tried again and same error. I run Linux.

So you have the same api key error ? You didnt delete your api key in the Rust IO config file did you ?

(02:39:17) | [Oxide] 03:39 [Error] Caused by: steam_api64
have no way to mess with the api key, all I can do is install or uninstall rustio - have done it several times then restarted the server

Merged post

I see there is a json for it but the api key is there
hello, probably a stupid question, but the api I have to enter from the steak? I already have some api, but I do not know if I put it there :-) and ip address in config also must be? Thank you
dcode, thank you so much for handling this situation. Everything is back to working order w/ 2.3.7189.16230. Have a great weekend!
Hello, I am still having problems with RustIO. Anyone know a solution? the HTTP server is working but RustIO is retrying every 5-10 min to install and causes lag.

After the restart on my linux server, for me just the static map and player counter works, but not the console input field and not the live map.

Rust:IO: Update complete
What happened with the update was that `RustDedicated_Data/Managed/Facepunch.Steamworks.dll` has been renamed to `Facepunch.Streamworks.Win64.dll`, so my fix was to reference the new file and push the update. Haven't tested on Linux, but can you make sure that you are running the latest Rust and Rust:IO versions and then take a look how the file is named there?
On my folder there is already the same file Facepunch.Steamworks.Win64.dll and there is also a file called Facepunch.Steamworks.Posix64.dll.

Don't know what the posix file is for but maybe the linux version should reference the posix file instead of the win64 one (it also has almost the same filesize)?

I have overriden the files with this zip-archive as written on https://umod.org/games/rust:
https://umod.org/games/rust/download/develop

Everything should have the latest update:
Rust:
Protocol: 2190.184.1
Build Date: 09/06/2019 10:42:03
Unity Version: 2019.2.0f1
Changeset: 39298
Branch: release

Oxide:
Version: 2.0.4276
What happens if you delete the Win64 one (make a backup) and make a copy of the Posix64 one named like the former (so you have that file twice with different names)?
Good idea, I can try later, currently I have some players on the server and I don't want to interrupt.
Possibly a noob question, but I read "Automatic Update is out", just how does it auto update??, I downloaded the oxide.ext.RustIO.DLL from the playrust website but it still has the same version number as the one I was currently using 2.16.0.0

It downloads its core using that.
