Command 'oxide.grant group admin activesort.use' not found

What am I doing wrong here?
If the "oxide.grant" command is not found, Oxide is not installed.
I ripped out the install of the server, reinstalled everything and now the simple commands I have been inputting work.
My input wasn't wrong, my install was wrong (not sure how).

Wulf: Respectfully speaking - It's really frustrating to be a noob and the way every single plugin's install instructions
are so rediculously vague that I have had to dig up so much info to support me doing this.

I should never have to do so much research into what I need to learn and what I don't.

The Devs of the plugins really should be required to follow code of ethics when putting up these plugins....
Almot Non of them have an intro for noobs, hardly any of them have the EXACT code
"No quotes included where not required"  you need to write for examples.
Just continuous assumption that we know how to program and know that quotations or no quotations actually will break the codes....

So many people are making these errors and no one is addressing it. It's so simple to reduce the amount of admin interaction in support ares if there is CRYSTAL CLEAR explaination on how to install and configure each and every code when "ASSUMPTION I KNOW CODE" is removed..........

You do a great Job but if you please implement an admin policy to answer questions within 48 hours and include a "Tutorial Section" with SUPER CLEAR Tutorial videos that have to be reviewed and accepted by admins who know code and know what they are doing precisely.

If you like this idea, I am willing to put all the required effort into making this happen, Just let  me know. At least i know if I do this I will not have to deal with this any more and neither will anyone else.

Code Of Conduct For Plugin Devs = Wulf has less work 4 WULF

I tried to send you PM but you don't accept messages. Thats awfully strange.
The Docs section of our site includes general information on how to install plugins, that isn't the job for plugin developers. We will be expanding that as time and functionality permits, as well as implenting a Guides section soon.
See https://umod.org/documentation/plugins/getting-started

The community forums are not here for guaranteed support, which is also stated in our Docs. Plugin Developers are not expected to always provide support or answer every question as they are here in their own time and contribute as they are able.
See https://umod.org/documentation/getting-help#no-support-guarantee

I do not accept PMs openly as users tend to use those for general support; not what they are for, the forums are here for that.
I would like to add something to all server owners out there. When you host a server, it involve a lot of work not just copy and paste and hope everything will work just fine. I have personally seen server owners have 0 knowledge on running a server and didn't bother to learn but have the odacity to ask for donation. Yes some of the plugin's doc is not as clear but fundamentally they all work the same if you actually learn how to read the code and how they actually work (i can 99% sure you can run the plugin even without a supporting documentation)

When you said "I should never have to do so much research into what I need to learn and what I don't." you are so wrong. The documents are there to guide you not a magic solution that will make everything run 100%. If you really are unsure how to run a server do more research/google or whatever before you host a server for players. The free plugin devs is not here to spoonfeed you with stuffs they provide for free wrote with their own free time. If you don't have the time to actually learn how to run the server then don't!

And as for your problem, the installation is as simple as it could be and i don't think anything could be as simple as installing oxide but even that you can't get it right so don't blame the existing documentations. I am sorry to have post this and if i get banned so be it. I had enough of server owners that don't even bother to learn how to run a server properly but kept asking every single thing that is pretty simple to solve.

Nothing personal against the poster btw but i've seen enough

Don't waste your time with these "Respectfully speaking" messages (I noticed in SteamCommunity forums as well). You ask for something that would be eligible for paid services. All this stuff around is free. Most of devs do it in their spare time and you ask for perfect tutorials and forced admin replies. It's ridiculous. I am a noob as well but I'm learning. Please don't speak in the name of "many people". Obviously all other are able to spend some time to search for solution or be patient about some reply. Sometimes it doesn't come as it happens when things are free and spontaneous. Do the same or give it up.

I have been to many other websites that have super clear tutorials on how to configure plaugins for other things.
A proper tutorial video that teaches properly is nothing to make compaired to a plugin.
All I have suggested was to improove the system around in this forum and my first thought was
say something in defence of WULF. People may think I was attacking him, but I was not. I was
talking about the devs who don't reply to support questions.
I never thought my useful suggestions would upset anyone especially when it's going to help everyone exponentially.
It would be a win win for every single person involved.
Think about it, Super clear tutorials and are reviewed to ensure understandable quality that leaves no stone unturned.
You would not see much questions being asked and you def wouldn't see unanswered posts for over a year being broadcasted to the public.

Is it so bad to want to see this forums to turn into one big super support forums that rock the video tutorials that everyone raves about?
Is it so bad to want something so woderful?
But yet here I am being stoned for my opinions..... Holly iraq! lol

Puchai., I think you had your right to say that and I respect it. I'm not one of those guys though.
I repect the fact you think I am (not really) but I'm not one of those guys you are trying to setme up to sound like.
Sure, you can take my words and flip them any way you want. Especially when I have not offered any explination for my words and tones I would have used if I was talking straightt o your face,, but people like you program my paragraphs with these negative tones and people are so easy to agree wit hthat and make it really whats happening when they no nothing of how I speak and nothing of how I don't get emotionally invloved in text conversations... like ever! I'm not one of those "DON'T YELL AT ME IN CAPS!" Thats so stupid..... I love CAPS! very clear to my bad eye sight!
Maybe people always judge me only by my words when TONE actually carries half the message too!

So go ahead and judge me and I'll still be the cool mono toned cat that sits at this keyboard typing while people like you insinuate that I'm feeling this way or acting that way when the reality  of it all is, you just are reading text and just let it go these thoughts you have of imaginary tones floating though the air telling you I'm angry or frustrated when its not at all like that.....

I'm not going to continue on with this explination a I feel I only have to say the truth once.

Cheers.
Respectfully!
