Some of the plugins have the "Clans" plugin linked to the "works with" section of the plugin description.

Is this a future project that is being worked on? Is there a current Clans mod that I can use that is trusted and good?

They are linking to the wrong plugin then, that isn't an actual plugin. There is a universal Clans plugin under the Plugins section.
