what do you mean by breaks placed markers ?
For me, it teleports me around the map and clears my placed waypoints without holding R. I have also found that if I teleport to a marker and it's within range of an HBHF or shotgun trap, it sets them off.

With "placed markers" I mean the waypoints you set on the map. When I teleport, those waypoints disappear automatically, even without holding R.
