Dear Rust players and Umod admins,

I own a server for about 2 weeks now and yesterday i promoted a player to moderator and he came 5 minuts after that stuck in vanish. I don't know how. Doesn't matter for now. Does anyone know how i can fix this? I already tried a few things like removing the permissions (oxide.revoke username vanish.permanent), also the other perms. That did not work. Also removed the whole plugin. That did not work either. Does anyone have some advice? Thanks alot!

If you log off or get DC'd while in Vanish, then re-connect you will often be in perma-vanish. I wrote a plugin called Invisibility Cloaks that addresses a similar problem (as it was being used as an exploit.) My plugin is not public yet (you can use it on Dr Evil's Zombiegeddon) and would only point you to the original authors of Vanish (Wulf / Whispers88) and see if they can spent a few cycles to fix it.

I suggest installing PermissionsManager plugin and checking this player's permissions in-game. Make sure that Vanish.permanent is disabled and Vanish.allow is enabled. Another way to check it is using oxide.show user SteamID64 command in your console. Good luck!
