You mean you can't craft next to a workbench while in Vanish? Does seems to work for me.

i cant seem to reproduce this issue. Do you have any other workbench plugins on your server ?

no other plugins for workbench, I deleted the vanish plugin and restarted the server and the I can craft again in front of the workbench, I’ll put the vanish plugin back on the server to try again

in fact no it doesn’t work, when I put the plugin back without using it, I had access to the workbench but when I used the vanish it doesn’t work and when I disable the vanish it doesn’t work anymore

and when I disable vanish I have the following message in the console

NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

I can confirm and reproduce this bug. No work bench access when vanished, and when unvanishing this message appears in the server console:

NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object


This is the only thing that appears.

And still no work bench access when unvanished again, too.

Things I tried to get access to the work bench again while unvanished and without restarting the server:
- Walking away and back into range of the work bench
- Disconnecting from the server and reconnecting again
- Unloading the plugin
- Unloading the plugin and walking away and back in range
- Unloading the plugin and reconnecting
None of the above works, so I have to downgrade the plugin again to version 1.5.6 and restart the server for now.


Edit: Ok, so, just before I was going to restart the server I by coincidence went so close to the work bench that I suddenly noticed I had access to it again. It just seems that now the range of it has been significantly reduced?

Edit 2: Yep, after having restarted the server with the previous Vanish 1.5.6 back in place, the normal work bench range has been restored and I can stand further away again and still have access.

Thanks guys just posted a patch that should fix the issue. If you need to reset without restarting killing your player should work.

@Whispers88 @Moussedu594 what did you do to fix it? I have tried killing my player. alse rejoined the server. Also found that heli, turrets, animals do not attack either. Still getting the error "NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" when vanish is disabled.

Yes, I'm still getting that same error with version 1.6.2 too.

Also, the reduced work bench range bug is still present too, admittedly its a minor issue but its still an issue nonetheless because it changes the vanilla range of the work bench and also in our case we have some deployables in front of the work bench and we cannot get that close up to the work bench without having to jump on the deployables, etc. Something which we did not have to do previously to get inside the range of the work bench.

Have again downgraded back to v1.5.6 in the meantime.

Seems ver. 1.5.5 is ok.

No, I do not have such a plugin. Could this maybe be some weird issue because I'm running this on Linux?

Same issue here.
My admins lost the ability to use the workbench since i updated to the last version.
When i delete the plugin (and relog) the workbench works again

Just posted a patch that should fix all these errors. Let me know if you still have issues.
