Why doesn't this plugin have a GitHub repository associated with it?

Because it doesn't at the moment. If the developer wants to utilize that, they can. When I originally created it, it did, but since the move I haven't setup a repository for it, and am no longer the maintainer for it.

Would be nice... opening up the possibility for others to make pull requests.
