I am now getting this error message (in red) in my console, is it anything to worry about ?

Yep, this too for me.  I would think all these changes with hooks and such are messing with everything.  I'm just waiting to see if there's an update needed, or once oxide is all figured out, if these errors will go away.  I will be pulling the plugin until then.

This isn’t related to the disabled hooks.
