The Unity log for rust is under RustDedicated_Data/output_log.txt by default, but may be changed based on if -logfile is set in your server's startup parameters. Oxide's logs are located under oxide/logs by default.

i dont want rust io installed that will blacklist from community from wot ive read.

ive got oxide and vanish working now im guessing its the rules gui plugin thats the issue?. it was the only plugin that i got from oxide site the rest were here on umod does that paticular plugin need an update maybe ? 

No updates needed, but they also won't prevent your server from being listed.
