About 1 week ago I could see many servers and about 150 k players, but now I can see a total of 30 k players and I cannot see many servers I have seen in the list, I can see china servers that are far from me. This is very strange.

I have the same problem I tried 2 different providers (Germany)
28015-28016 TCP / UDP allowed ports
I allowed all ports
I shortened the server name
I have activated the Steammaster option
I updated rust / umod
I updated the plugins
I have disabled ipv6
I've tried different operating systems Ubuntu 16,18,20 / Centos 8 / Windows
I changed the server ip address 3 times (It was not in the banned ip list)

As a result there is a serious problem with the server list.
I live in Turkey. When I opened my server from Turkey, I can find my server in list. When I open a server from France or Germany locations, I cannot see the server in the list. Although the locations I usually play in are Germany and France, I cannot find most servers and my own server in the list.

I don't know what the guys at Facepunch did, but my rcon listed these messages:

We saw an increase of over 17,000 servers since twitch drops. Even if they display more than 5k, you aren't gonna be clicked on above say 1.5k very often.

It does not help that there are over 20,000 servers with 0 players on, basically flooding the listings.

Soultion? I don't know, server operators are basically at mercy of Facepunch. My own servers have dramatically depopulated past 15 days as 100's players report "I can't see the server admin" Sad lol.

Read till 2nd post and I am not gonna continue to read all this other sh*t. Stupid Rust have this problem from years and its nothing new... Why CS GO for example or other games via Valve's steam system listings works fine and you do not have missing servers or waiting 1 century to see your server!? Only Rust is broken!!!!!!

 Noticed when I start my test server at home its listed instantly in the server list when start game without any searching/ordering, its on top of the list.  Then paid for overpriced VPS but because its located in my country tough will works fine. Yeah started fine - server on top of the list for playersi n my country, low ping etc. but last month saw this problem. When from 20people connected everyone have 10-20ping max and server have stable connection 1Gbps. I have also 10fps when join in the server but in the server list its displayed for me with 40-35-20-12-40-45 when refresh every time under modded category. Now its even not listed for no reason because of this broken list but can see it in Favourites or history with 12-20ping properly but only there, not in modded/ What a shame.

Same, 10 servers died in 2 weeks.
I guess, that's the purpose, so players will go to play their *** servers.

Btw my server got full with this rust game advertisment from twitch drops/streams/events bla bla but server list kills your server. january had wipes with 60/69 around

Now february my server is till populated but with 20 on a wipe day and then 10-12 people and I cant see it in the list, I am sure people cant see it too unless favourited. Damn

having  the same issue also with a dedicated server running a i9 10900 cpu with giganet upand down internet.

Damn I'm having this issue with todays wipe. Wiped, updated, changed map seed and size, and my server doesn't show up in the server browser anymore. Already tried restarting, reinstalling updates to no avail
