Technically "all rights reserved" unless otherwise specified, but even if was under an open source license, most authors here do not appreciate plugins being copied; though we do leave the door open for maintaining abandoned works rather than removing them right away.yetztwhats the license of the original plugin?
Either way, the plugin would have to be submitted to be reviewed, though the original can still be picked up and maintained if a developer desires.
Grateful he keeps this project alive, moderates it all the time and updates it on the fly to match facepunch each month for us all.
I understand exactly why he has the rules he does, it's a must.
So is going up through the channels to get your work published.
It's all fair and on point.
Thanks Wulf!!!
I did not mean to make a fuss out of all of this. Seriously!
I only rewrote this, because it first of all didn't work. So i fixed that.
When I had fixed that, I didn't agree on how the interface was working (because it needed picture files from the net, that might come unavailable as in the case). So i rewrote it, then after doing that, I found that I didn't have to do much work to completely transform it into something else.
I didn't know your stands etc. here. I will rewrite it when I get the time. It's almost rewritten already anyway. Weather I publish it or not I haven't decided yet. Since it requires you to at least maintain it for a month. I don't wanna make promises I might not be able to deliver on.
If Death wants my source and rewrite it himself he can have it. :)
I am sorry that this turned into a debate, I understand how this forum works now and I respect it. So should everybody else. :)
