In a very vague, corporate like manor. I mean you have the power to make this happen, you should be jumping on this. Maybe this is why the community is dying. Dev's really aren't getting the support they need. I've gathered this place is run like a business with no actualy business. The promise of a market place to establish it but when will that happen? I'm so tired of seeing hard working dev's get shoved off. I know several people who themselves have tried to publish plugins just for them to get revoked over and over again. What Gives?
I'm sorry you feel that way, but an unknown user/developer jumping in and taking over an existing plugin or submitting someone else's work as their own is generally not an acceptable stance, so we try to see that they are established before taking on any abandoned works. We have plenty on our plate, we don't need more work handling a potential cleanup of an unknown developer being potentially malicious or otherwise causing issues.
The user was given options:
- Submit at least one other plugin for review before trying their hand at maintaining another
- Submit this plugin, written entirely in their own code (not copying someone else's) for review
I don't feel like either one of those options are unreasonable, and easily doable should they wish to pursue it.
