Last beta version 4.0.4 sort correctly the autokit. Thanks @k1lly0u nice work. The rest of the kits I have not tried.

Once you hit the "chat" key *to begin typing it is impossible to move your character or anything else until you exit chat ?

Sorry i dont understand what you mean, ? you press the chat key whos function is that it enables you to type and ?

Am i missing something with the permissions? 

i added kits.mods in, but when i give this permission to a player it does not exist

When you create a kit *version 3.3.1 you type in chat   /kit add <kitname> and you will get a confirmation message that says "you have created a new kit <kitname> and a menu will appear under that message
(i will only use part of that menu as a demo) *you would already have equipped yourself with the weapons/tools/food/ammo/resources and clothing that you want in that kit
So you type
/kit authlevel    use level 1 for moderators and level 2 for admins (dont use this line if for normal players)
/kit items                       you will get a confirmation that your inventory has been copied into the kit
/kit cooldown                   time between redeeming kits (in seconds)   you will get confirmation message
/kit max                          maximum amount this kit can be redeemed                 "                "
/kit hide  true or false  *you will usually have false as you want your players to see it but if it is for admin/mod/bot/reward you would use true.
/kit description "what ever you want"   this will appear when players type /kit
/kit npconly true or false , if you want them for bots you would type true and players cannot redeem them unless they kill the bot.
/kit permission "permission name"  if you want to use kits as rewards (as i do) then they can only redeem them if you grant the player or group that permission, it does not matter if this kit is hidden or no as you cannot redeem it without that permission,

I dont use the gui menu as i find this system easier (though not as decorative) you only need permissions as i have described above , players usually type /kit and a list of available kits will appear , mine says: *after typing /kit in chat
kit - type /kit then kit for basic kit. use it wisely you only get 20             (so /kit kit)
Hunter - You only get 10 - 10 left                                                             (so /kit hunter) etc
BigGameHunter - Server Reward for 75+ Hours - 10 left
Veteran - Server Reward for 125+ Hours - 10 left
Elite       - Server Reward for 260+ Hours - 10 left
Special  - Server Reward  for 500+ Hours - 10 left

You are wrong i still use ConnectionDB until  it stops working, which i hope wont be for a very long time. but they both work afaik,

are you going to make it where it's converted from the old plug-in to the new one?
