I have at my base a few foundations that are not connected to the rest, on which the TC stands. These continue to expire even if they are in the radius of the TC. Can I prevent this with this plugin?

No you cannot, FP changed the way the cupboard works a while ago, all building blocks must be connected to the foundation/floor the tc is on.
it also limits placing another tc within its range , the days of "linking" tcs to protect a large fortress type structure is more difficult,
