Since version 3.3.5 where in the newly generated .json file with the ( "Display Name": "NightStalker",  ) cvar,  it still shows on the DeathNotes as "Scarecrow". I am now at the newest ver. 3.3.9 and it still shows "Scarecrow" and not "NightStalker". Is there something else I can do to have DeathNotes display the name I chose in the ( "Display Name": "NightStalker",  ) cvar?

I believe that DeathNotes has custom handling for scarecrows and displays that name regardless of the display name.

I believe you can configure it to display whichever message you want if you look at the "Death Messages part of the config.
