Could this be added in the config? It seems to be rather expensive to log everytime and would be better if it builds up cashe then only writes the log lets say every 5 minutes to prevent performance issues.

Also I think this plugin hasn't been updated in quite some time, i mad a suggestion too last year which would be added in the next update so maybe it's time for a friendly reminder/refresh of the plugin to make it more smooth?
