If attacking a player while you have godmode enabled you get a message on screen:

"you is in godmode and can't attack <playername>"

This is a minor problem but is bad grammar.

Do not grant this permission "godmode.noattacking"

Hello and thank you for this response, the problem isn't the permission or the ability to attack players, its the message printed when you do and the grammar within it.

It says "you is", it should say "You are"
