The loot tables in this plugin are absolute garbage.
I just ran a bunch of tests with the default configuration, a custom configuration with rarity overrides, etc. and this is what I got across ~240 military crates. Not everything is listed, but I care much more about comps than I do hazmat suits or search lights.
I was totally starved for scrap in my testing, totally starved for components, and completely overrun with electrical items and water purifiers. There's no way this plugin is worth trying to configure, right?
| Item Total, ~240 Mil Crates, Sorted by Vanilla | Vanilla Loot | BetterLoot |
| scrap | 1984 | 1992 |
| metal.refined | 666 | 79 |
| metalpipe | 205 | 25 |
| techparts | 101 | 8 |
| smgbody | 47 | 3 |
| riflebody | 38 | 4 |
| targeting.computer | 25 | 5 |
| cctv.camera | 23 | 3 |
Absolutely insane. These are just some of the electrical items...
| Item Total, ~240 Mil Crates, Sorted by BetterLoot | BetterLoot | Vanilla Loot |
| electric.rf.broadcaster | 24 | 1 |
| rf_pager | 23 | 0 |
| electric.andswitch | 20 | 2 |
| rf.detonator | 20 | 1 |
| electric.teslacoil | 20 | 3 |
| electric.counter | 15 | 0 |
| electric.rf.receiver | 14 | 1 |
| electric.random.switch | 14 | 2 |
| waterpump | 13 | 2 |
| smart.switch | 13 | 0 |
| electric.hbhfsensor | 11 | 0 |
And this is JUST for military crates, nevermind the brown boxes, elite crates, locked crates, food crates, barrels, etc.
Does anyone have a configuration that's relatively close to vanilla so I can simply remove the junk items and add a few things in? Or perhaps a better plugin suggestion? I just can't believe how highly regarded this plugin is when it takes literal days, weeks, or months, to configure it properly.
