Multiple of one weapon are spawning. However in the file there should only be one weapon spawning. Plus they stack

Yeah but if you set in StackSizeController for weapons max stack 1 (vanilla) and set loot multiplier to x2 you will have instead of 2 ropes - 4 and instead of 3 metal pipe - 6, so that's great... you will have 2 satchels in the box instead of 2 and instead of 5 bullets for example, gonna spawn 10. But weapons are also multiplied and that's broken because you have 2 stacked weapons in the loot and you fast loot with (hover loot) 1 in your inventory then drag the item and split and you have 2 weapons. Also every condition item also stack so yeah... It's broken.

i would make sure that is turned on so armor and weapons will never stack, only consumables like resources, ammo, food. if that doubles, it's not such a big deal, but stacking weapons in my experience breaks the gameplay.

If everyone can stack weapons its a level field in my experience
Not sure if this option works because I do have it properly set as I remember and in my inventory or inside chests can't stack the weapons... They just generate stacked x10 or whatever rate is set in better loot because of this better loot problem and then if you hover loot the crate and start dragging in inventory the weapon will split it until you for example have 10 weapons then can't stack it back due to stacksize prevention for items with durability but generation x10 in crates still happens... Btw it's not problem anyways if you loot 10 crates and find 10 aks then stack them inside one stack... its gamebreaking if you loot 1 crate and find this 10 aks then nobody cares if you can or can't keep the stack its already broken.

I dont use a multiplier in Betterloot, i find that if i collect a large amount of weapons on a fancydrop airdrop or from multiple bots at monuments they stack with no problems , i dont "hover" over loot (?) i "right click" all the weapons (and loot) into my inventory and from there into my backpack, they all stack with no problems, I have my weapons stack set to 50 and my ak's set to 200 because they get used up in turrets,
the loot does not split "right clicking" into inventory/backpack/chests or moving into new chests when sorting , the only time it will split is if the stack is full and they start to form another stack,
I mean if you do not want to spend time making very complex stuff like spring x5 pipe x10 or rifle body x2 or just adding every single item in every single container custom values you can simply set 10 in config for loot and 10 for scrap so after that if you break the barrel will drop x10 more components, also for example not 1 apple in food box but 10 which is also ok but will also drop x10 ak's from 1 crate that's the problem or 10 chainsaws or 10 hatchets... Its not problem about how you gonna loot the gun via hover loot or draging or what you gonna do later with stacks... Its about the BetterLoot simple loot rate... if server is x100 for example you gonna have 100ak's in 1 crate stacked so easy 1 crate end game loot... In magic loot as I know cant multiply items with durability in crates so that's why typed here in this already opened thread to see if someone have solution...

i did the first option a long time ago. once done its done , any changes are made to single items when needed. but everyone has different needs , so i hope you get yours resolved.
