Player only muted for self
When you do the /toggleglobalmute - it sends the message to everyone but it does not mute globally. People can still chat.
It might be due to the ColoredName plugin. Looking into it.
Thanks
this is due to rust implementing client side a few months ago that have conflicting commands withthis plugin to fix check out my fix:

Hello,
I've realised whenever i mute someone in my server they can still able to talk in global chat with errors popping up.
I've tried this solution : https://umod.org/community/better-chat-mute/16023-only-mutes-players-to-yourself-not-the-server?page=1#post-4
But same thing happens, now with gmute command.
Can't mute anyone from console or in game /mute or /gmute
But when i unload the plugin the original "mute <steamid>" command works. (only tried on myself on my test server) But not announcing it to the server. Just a silent mute. Or is it just for me to "not see"?
Plugins that are installed on the server :
playeradministration.cs
adminhammer.cs
adminradar.cs
discordmessages.cs
I missed that thread of yours KUKAMANGA, thank you for mentioning it.
I released another update to provide alternative commands prefixed with "bcm.".
Whenever i mute someone it broadcasts it to the general chat. Is it possible to hide it? im pretty sure it was hidden before.
