Started using this and added some racist words to kick people using them.
But players get kicked for normal words sometimes.
I have to put these in the white list then.
I wonder why this happens.

If the word in chat contains the filter word it will trigger. Thats why i added whitelist ..... alota ppl wil try to hide there bad language to bypass the system thats why its made like this

If your player get kicked forr any word . Then check you dont have spaces . In your filter list

Well, it happens because of german words that are similar to a swear word. 
To learn which words belong to the whitelist it would be great if the data file would not only contain the offenses and amount
but also the words the players used.
This way one could check them and put them in the whitelist to prevent further kicking for unproblematic words.

I would really wanna see an option to only blacklist the exact words I write in the config.
There's so many german word endings that collide with a certain swear word.

see the problem is when using exact word ppl work around it . ex   brave as word .... just doeing brave! or bravee or bra ve and i can go on so this is why plugin is wat it is . might need to rethink the nig part... imeen does nig get used that much
and if do maybe the problem lies with racist players .... im not trying to sound like im attacking but . a plugin cant do everything for you ..... just remember at the moment betterchatfilter is doing the best it can to help you out

I don't want it to try to figure out every way a player could try to write a racist word if this means that way more normal words trigger a kick.
It's way more work to collect all these words in a whitelist instead of writing e.g. brave, bravee & bra ve in the blacklist.
For all words that racists would use to bypass other players will normally report these on my server.
So, if there was an option once could choose to only trigger the plugin when using the exact words in the black list (with spaces like bra ve also)
it would be really helpful in my case.
In the german case in fact. :)

Now a player said his location ( n16 ) in chat and got kicked. :D
This is so weird.

N19 was also whitelisted by me cause players got kicked.
Problem is they still get kicked for saying that after whitelisting.

again the nig : 1 for I and 9 for g is a leet to help the hiding bad words . argo n19 will get triggered . rethink the nig

Obviously I don't allow players being racist. Otherwise I wouldn't have racist words added to the blacklist.
I would really like to get that plugin.

"Well. There is a difference between players using racist words or any bad language and racist people. It's pretty normal in my opinion that the players flame each others and get mad in PVP Rust. Even on my server which is more for noobs and average players that happens. It makes no sense to ban all these players. The server would be empty and never work then. That is why I kick players who use bad words to give them a hint what's not ok. If they try other ways of being racist or just take it over the top using bad language I ban them. Just happened yesterday for a whole clan. So, that is my way to do it. And that is why a plugin that instantly bans players that use any words is nothing that can work for me. what its normal for racist in your server...... please dont ask me for any help i do not condone any ppl that supports racisim . and the ban is on word match from list as i said from begining  .... pleas stop contacting me bc im dont want to get ask for help and after i do the work (for freeand in kindness) i get blatently told this is to harsh....(the exact thing that was said yes i want that...._)

I really don't understand your harshness tbh.
And you really seem to want to missunderstand how I treat bad language and racist words saying players on my server.
Anyway, you made this a very personal and emotional conversation and I still don't know why.
I am not a racist and I don't tolerate racists. There's nothing more to say for me I think.
