GUI ScalingSolved

Is there a way the Button can be scaled with different UI Scalings. its awkward for people that use different scales and the backpack then overlays their hotbar.

nvm im a numpty i figured it out Lmao

You can experiment with the settings in the config to position it where you want and what image you have for the backpack,
I have mine set right next to the first belt slot and is the same size as the belt inventory slots,

"GUI Button": {
    "Image": "",
    "Background color (RGBA format)": "0 0 0 0.4",
    "GUI Button Position": {
      "Anchors Min": "0.5 0.0",
      "Anchors Max": "0.5 0.0",
      "Offsets Min": "-245 18",
      "Offsets Max": "-205 78"

For anyone who reads this in the future, the default settings do scale with resolution, aspect ratio, and UI scale. If anyone is seeing otherwise, that's because they customized the values and did it wrong. Only edit OffsetMin and OffsetMax. Do not edit AnchorMin and AnchorMax unless you want to move the icon to a completely different area of the screen.

I do not have any problem with resolution , whether i play in widescreen or windowed mode the backpack icon stays where it is.

FYI: My post was not directed at you. It is fully possible to customize the icon position and size without running into resolution or scaling issues, as you have successfully done. My point was that the customization can be done wrong, and that is why people run into such issues as the OP did. Most likely, the cause was that they edited Anchors. They did not say the reason for their issue after resolving it, so I used this thread as an opportunity to explain why it probably happened, and to guide people to specifically avoid editing Anchors, in case people run into a similar issue in the future and find this thread.
