Anyone know when this patch/update is coming out.. i run an ai server and when i saw this i died to get it but now it's like... ugh...Β

Download 1.0.7 it is an excellent working version until the dev is more available to make their own official release.

im currently using one of the first versions, people have armor breaking for just being afk in cold base or doing launch because of rads with newer versions

Grab that, update it, then tweak it.

does this update removeΒ  armor damage from cold, rads and such?

it wasnt clear for me, i thought you could only handle the damage done to armor and set it higher or lower by groups. but the damage from cold and rads would still exist in 1.0.7. maybe i didnt understand well tho

No worries.

It doesn't remove it entirely but you could reduce damage by A LOT and it will go down much slower.

The developer is in a part of the world where there is conflict, you may know about it if you are enaged in the news. They will be back to do more great work when they can as I hope they stay safe from the conflict.

ahh yeah then i did understand well, i just disliking hazmat breaking when people doing launchpuzzle, or i have some regulars that are half day afk sometimes and living in cold or desert biome. so there armor just snaps over period of time. i understand i can set damage at a much lower rate. but it will still occure if players not aware or paying attention. i just dislike this mechanic overal. im aware of the dev situation and the horrible situation.. wish him the best of luck and hopes this war will end soon.Β

i remember pvp damage to armor was an issue in earlier versions, people could pvp eachother in my pve server and break eachother kits. if they in same team i dont care they shouldnt shoot eachother lol. but if trolls find out they could easy go around server and breaking people kits. i dont know if this is still an issue in former version havent tested it out yet. but if, its maybe something to look at. i use the true pve plugin

The most recent 2 versions fixed that.

You just need to configure it and lower damage.

Players will still receive damage this way but much less once you get it configured to your liking.

I also have a PvE server and use TruePVE.

yes i understand but i dont want to lower damage because of that aspect alone, its already to my likings now. its just a minor thing that i wanted to get out there. latest version works great!

Added a new parameter to the config file
"A player can damage another player's armor. (Must be true for PVP) (Must be false for TruePVE)": false,

if you need suicide punishment to work then use these settings
"A player can damage another player's armor. (Must be true for PVP) (Must be false for TruePVE)": false,
"The following types of damage are not processed (Suicide)": false,
then random damage will be dealt to the player's armor.

Please test the plugin.
