Possible to use realtime instead of playtime?

Is there a way to setup the plugin so that "noobs" are protected for 24hrs (realtime) and not 24hrs of playtime?

So lets say someone gets on and plays for 4hrs.. Builds a base with good loot, but gets off and only gets back on for 1hr a day just to keep the TC full... It would take 20days before someone could raid them...

It would be nice if it could be set to 24hrs (realtime) and then they become raidable.

is this possible?

Thanks

only thing I have see is someone give the first 24 hours after wipe a no pvp time by setting it to pve for the first 24 hours after wipe I know that doesnt help much but maybe an idea to go with

Well, the idea behind adding in this option, would be for a server thats say 1/2 way between wipes.. And has a new "noob" join up.. 1st time on the server.  Currently, bydefault, play time tracker is set at 24hrs (of playtime)..

Scenario:
The noob plays for 5 "tracked" hours and builds a base... Makes some friends who xfer loot to him and stores it in said "protected" base and then logs off..  If the noob only logs on for 1hr a day, that's 20 days before his raid protection is up.

Solution:

If the servers RTC is used, than as soon as the Noob logs on, plays 5hrs, gets loot, stores it.. Then the very next day, that base is raidable.. It doesn't matter if they stay offline or not...  This is where the "noob" can message the admin and beg for the clock to be reset because he didn't play that long.

I think both ways have their benefits.. Or perhaps a combination of both, but the option to use the RTC isn't available as of now.. And that's what I'd like to see added to the config...   -An option that says "use system RTC" True/False & "Time of RTC protection" i.e.: 10hrs...

Something like that..
I don't think it would be too hard since most of the programming is there already... its just adding a feature.

If you could, please do so Slydelix...

It seems like an either-or might be good in a couple of cases.

Player has 5 days of game time or 3 days of inactivity, or a total of 7 days of either combined and under 200 hours of Steam game time.

EDIT: I missed the point of this thread. Sorry. I think using realtime may be good as it simplifies everything. Someone new to the server gets x days of noob time.

Well, My point is, if its "game" time, and they get say 1hr of protection.. They login with "friends" build a base, and log off.. The friends use the base and the player is only at 30mins.. So his new base is protected... If he only logs in for 1min a day, thats an entire month of protection, and the base is unraidable...

If using "realtime" then 1hr of protection would wear off whether that person is playing on the server or not.. So they can't "share" with friends.

you could look at using the Timed Permissions plugin. That tracks by real-time. So you could grant and revoke permission based on that.
