Supported Games
Purpose
To provide management commands to the player, if given permission, to control their own minicopter by spawning ("/makemini") one into the game, telling the server to take back their minicopter ("/takemini"), telling the server to get their minicopter anywhere on the map to them ("/getmini"), telling the server to allow another player access to the pilot seat ("/authPilot"), telling the server to disallow player access to the pilot seat ("/unauthPilot"), viewing details about their minicopter ("/minidetails"), and customize their minicopters ("/upgrademini").
In future versions, players might be able to purchase upgrades to their mini such as weapons, better fuel rate, upgrade engine to run on batteries, lights, additional authorized pilots, and more.
Permissions

Wait time permissions prevent players from spawning another minicopter if theirs gets destroyed in 'x' amout of time as configured in the configuration file.

Customization
/upgrademini-- shows the commands that player can use to customize their minicopter/upgrademini batteries add-- adds 2 batteries (1 left and 1 right) with a electrical branch at the left rear of minicopter./upgrademini batteries remove-- removes the 2 batteries and electrical branch/upgrademini efuel add-- adds a battery on the engine and converts the low grade gas engine into a pseudoelectric engine that runs off battery power. Must keep charge in the batteries to fly./upgrademini efuel remove-- reverts engine into a low grade fuel burner and removes the battery on the engine/upgrademini turret add-- adds an Auto Turret to the front of the minicopter (drains batteries)/upgrademini turret off-- turret's power is cut, allowing the player to put a weapon, ammo and authorize themselves and allow others as well./upgrademini turret on-- turret's power is resumed and the turret goes back to sweeping for targets/upgrademini turret remove-- removes turret from the front of the minicopter.
Configuration
{
"AssetPrefab": "assets/content/vehicles/minicopter/minicopter.entity.prefab",
"CanSpawnBuildingBlocked": false,
"FuelAmountUnlimited": 100,
"FuelRate": 0.25,
"FuelRateUnlimited": 0.0001,
"miniSpawnDistance": 5.0,
"miniStartHealth": 750.0,
"WaitTimes": {
"ManageMini.noWT": 10.0,
"ManageMini.WaitTime2": 21600.0,
"ManageMini.WaitTime1": 43200.0,
"ManageMini.defaultWT": 86400.0
}
}
- AssetPrefab <-- The model that the plugin uses to generate a minicopter for a player
- CanSpawnBuildingBlocked <-- Currently, not being used. Will replace. (Oversight)
- FuelAmountUnlimited <-- 100 low grade fuel is added to the minicopters of players with Unlimited Fuel permission so that the minicopter; hopefully, always show full fuel.
- FuelRate <-- The default in-game fuel rate is 0.50, but in-code of API states 0.25. This reverts that so that non-Unlimited Fuel or Random Fuel Rate minicopters will use 0.25 Low Grade Fuel per second.
- FuelRateUnlimited <-- Should be 0, but 0.0001 works just as great as 0. Seriously, your flying a minicopter should use fuel, but very very slowly.
- miniSpawnDistance <-- Maximum distance the minicopter is going spawn from the player. The actual distance is a random number. If issues arise, due to minicopters dropping on players, let me know.
- miniStartHealth <-- Self explainatory, but a newly spawned minicopter will have 750 HP.
- WaitTimes <--- These are the amount of seconds that player must wait before spawning another minicopter. The noWT of 10 seconds is to allow the server time to perform other functions.
To avoid issues by having more than one waitTime granted for a player make sure that wait times in the config file is ordered lowest above highest as shown in the Configuration File defaults section.
Localization
Currently, English is the only language implemented. If you wish to add more language support then I will gladly add translations into the plugin if I can get correct language translation.
I have a few more changes to that so that all English player chat messages can be translated. On the TODO list.
TODO List
- HIGH PRIORITY: Add code to prevent players from spawning or upgrading minicopters when they are in a building block zone
- MEDIUM PRIORITY: Change from using chat commands to using a GUI interface by consolidating into one chat command /managemini instead of all the rest of commands. ConfigFile will allow servers to adjust what the players can and cannot do.
- Add code to /miniDetails that will display the current location, degree bearing from player, distance from player, and who is piloting the minicopter if someone is.
- Add code to prevent server from modifying the minicopter properties (ie. fuel rate, position) while an authorized pilot is flying. This will also disable /getmini and /takemini while pilot seat is occupied.
- Add code to allow server admins or moderators with permission to disable the ownership check of this plugin
Possible Plans
This completely depends on those that use and suggest ideas. I am new to programming in C# and this plugin community, so I am keeping some of my planned future additions a secret. Just in case, I cannot figure out how to add the features that I want to add this includes the GUI code, but looks very straight forward to what I have read in other plugin codes.
Current plans that may implement in the GUI:
- to have this plugin have a cost feature. I saw that suggestion on SpooksAU Spawn Mini community "Help and Suggestion" page and liked the idea; especially, since bandit camp now sells minicopters [the suggestor used that reason].
- ^*** Addition / dependency to #1: to provide owners the ability to purchase upgrades to the minicopter (ie. fuel rate, number of authorized pilots, ... )
- ^*** Addition / dependency to #1: to provide players the ability to own and manage more than one minicopter. This is for Role Playing Servers that might want to have a minicopter rental service agent. Other players will rent minicopters for certain about of time then the minicopter will stop working.
- to have /miniDetails display how much fuel the minicopter has used since spawning in
- to provide the owner a command to teleport fuel from their inventory into fuel tank of their minicopter. This way if another pilot is low on fuel the owner can save them. (possible upgrade option there as well)
- ^*** Addition to #6: This will probably be part of the cost feature of #1.
Currently, I do NOT have any plans to add code that utilizes another plugin. This is so that only I am to blame for feature not working.
Therefore, if you have any suggestions, complaints or issues then please add a post in this plugin's help section.
Credits
SpooksAU's Spawn Mini plugin was the inspiration of this plugin. I wanted to tailor the plugin differently than SpooksAU, so instead of continually modifying that plugin, I went ahead and did a complete rewrite. For now, this plugin code should act similar, but be unique to my own logic and direction. Future versions should diverge the two plugins.
Pho3niX90's Mini-Copter Options plugin is the inspiration for some of the feature additions to this plugin. That plugin is fantastic, but this plugin implements the same idea in a different way by giving the player the ability to customize their minicopter through upgrades that may or may not have a cost to them.

by such Contributor that are necessarily infringed by their
Contribution(s) alone or by combination of their Contribution(s)
with the Work to which such Contribution(s) was submitted. If You
institute patent litigation against any entity (including a
cross-claim or counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that the Work
or a Contribution incorporated within the Work constitutes direct

reproduction, and distribution of the Work otherwise complies with
the conditions stated in this License.
5. Submission of Contributions. Unless You explicitly state otherwise,
any Contribution intentionally submitted for inclusion in the Work
by You to the Licensor shall be under the terms and conditions of

result of this License or out of the use or inability to use the
Work (including but not limited to damages for loss of goodwill,
work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all

has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Accepting Warranty or Additional Liability. While redistributing
the Work or Derivative Works thereof, You may choose to offer,
and charge a fee for, acceptance of support, warranty, indemnity,
or other liability obligations and/or rights consistent with this
