Backup your bans.cfg. Even if there is a small chance of it messing up, don't risk it.
Servers with large ban lists will freeze when banning players. This moves the ban list to a local SQLite database, improving performance. It will load all your local bans to the database on first load, however there are manual overrides.
Console Commands
Use bans.save.db to save your local bans to the database.
Use bans.load.db to load all bans from the database.
