If you think this site is so poorly run you may want to spread your wisdom elsewhere where it might be appreciated, if you feel strongly about unanswered posts feel free to delve deeper into the ones here in the (mistaken) belief that they were ignored because of disinterest.
The reason some threads are ignored is either because the remedy is already available or has been applied and the thread in itself is pointless. or it is a suggestion that no one is interested in because either its too much work for not enough result of something that the dev does not want to do.

As was pointed out to me a few years ago
"ALL content on this site is freely available and they are submitted "as is", there are no guarantees and as the devs have a "real life" any problems will be attended to when time is available"

Most visitors to this site realise those conditions and act accordingly.   for me that is the end of the subject as i have no interest in your expectations (realised or no)

Yous both forgot that there are multiple times threads ae duplicates and questions get answered there... someone answering the question isnt going to look for every thread with a simular question and answer it 15 times.

I as well have been pointed out that this website and every addon (currently) on here is 100% free and the devs of UMOD and the individual mods dont get paid for there work here,,,, now there are mods that move to paid platforms  as well and guess what... not even ever thread gets answered there as most the time rust plugins are a side job for alot of devs... they still have familes and other jobs.

Im all for answering questions of posts that are 1 to 3 months old or if a thread has a lot of people posting the same issue/merged threads all reporing the same issue... then its something people can answer.

Now to answer about NPCs in general... they cant go inside player made buidings UNLESS you make there spawn point/make them stationary OR make a custom nav path for that npc. NPCs seem to be gettin better and can navigate most default rust monuments outside and some even inside. As for scarecrows/zombies.... you can always enable them to spawn, I forget the convar but they do spawn and work propery without an addon. But honestly too many NPCs will lag down any server... then add players ontop o that.... I would say use them but I would play generously with the numbers until yuo know what your server can handle and then would probably dial it back a few notches to give your community room to grow.

Also there is a few AWESOME paid for addons out that that let you do damn near anything with an NPC... I use 2 diffrent ones and they are 1000% worth every penny I paid for them.

I had a geniune question about an unanswered post, that was left for over a year.  That surprised me.  I'm allowed to be surprised.  That's a totally reasonable emotion.  So I asked about it.  I wasn't being combatitive.  I wasn't slagging anyone.  I have no clue who umod is comprised of, or to what end facepunch is associated with umod.  I'm looking for information.  (obviously my concern is - How do I avoid this fate for my future questions).

The response I got back was absolute trash, and the only reason why we're 10 responses deep.  First response could have contained any of the information presented to me in the most recent two paragraphs, but instead it was some attempt to insult as if I (or anyone) have no business questioning the almight umod. 

If you don't care about your members' expectations, then why didn't you just ignore my question, @pookins?  Why engage with someone who's opinion you don't care about?  More importantly, why would say that out loud for all your members to able to read?  How encouraged we all must feel knowing if we have any sort of question about performance or operations of this forum, we might as well zip it.

Razor has contributed some insanely helpful plugins, but the attitude is lacking.  You guys will eventually learn (the hard way no doubt) that the ones who are willing to take the time to give you their truth, are the only ones who matter.

Given the emergence of carbon, I'm not sure how much umod can afford taking giant dumps on top of new members  - new members is every organziation's lifeblood.  And you just showcased that you don't care.

If I owned umod, I would erased every response after the OP, and respond with "scarecrows are still glitchy AF, and umod's recommendation is to buy any of the following plugins; <list plugins>."  Isn't that far more helpful?

you didnt miss much, only someone who likes to repeat a pointless arguement regarding a forgotten post that deals with a subject that was fully explained at the time (in other threads) ,
