can I use umod agent on an existing active (rust) server?
Do I only need to install umod agent f.ex. with bash on linux and move after this to the install folder of rust to update it?

So I should be able to install over the existing data and it should work, with the active server? - That would be very nice.

The dedicated server of our rust is installed in "~/rustdir". Do I have to change the workdir, before install?
The server should be shut down, but otherwise yes. Directory would be where the ran from unless otherwise changed. You can learn more about the agent here: https://umod.org/guides/getting-started/agent
