OVH might be the best Dedicated Server host.
Forget that !! it costs 3 times more than i pay and is located in Singapore (mine is in Sydney) I pay $175 for 50 slots every three months OVH is $409 .17 with no information regarding slots or the usual information regarding FTP access, TCADMIN functionality or practically anything else .
Total incl. GST $409.17 AUDpookins

Then i recommand you to go to hosthavoc They are more cheaper then OVH hosting and you'll only pay 20 dollar each month,
Which is cheaper what you're paying right now, so if you're paying $175 then consider to do 3 moth payment which is I though like $45 each month,
It also depens on it on how much server slots and server performence you want it,

Here was my process on choosing a hosting company:
1. Check what my favorite rust youtubers are really using and what they recommend
I know, some of them get paid to advertise their hosting but others have a more open approach and will share some good info.
2. Make sure you get the expected minum services a provider should have:
- DDOS Protection
- FTP access
- Functional Gamepanel
- Good update system for both Steam and Oxide platforms
- Automated backups
- Automated restarts
- 24h Tech support (believe me you will need this, especially if you are starting out)
- Dynamically scalable (you can upgrade your server by adding more RAM, CPU priority, SSD drive, etc. without IP change or downtime)
3. Once you narrow a couple of providers down check user reviews
Trust advisor and other sites are good places to read some user cases. Keep in mind that reviews can be faked and that some reviewers are just plain dumb people that blame the provider for their mistakes. Keep an open mind while reading and try to get a sense of the overall evaluation.
4. Once you make up your mind aquire a small hosting plan, setup the server and see how it runs. As you add mods, users that join etc, monitor the performance and scale up the server's power as your needs grow, be it ram, cpu power etc.
Hope this helped.
I currently have a few servers and am very disappointed with the host I have. Sadly it is not easy to tell ahead of time about a hosts TcAdmin, steam, oxide etc until you can use it. However, yes I totally agree about 24/7 support. Right now if my servers go down, I'm looking at anywhere from an hour to 12+ for a response/fix. All due to the poor software the host runs.deicide77

TruxDeadnitroso as you can see somethimes it better to hosting servers by your self then host it by providers,
Until you start getting DDoS'ed hard.
I'm hosting my own server aswell, running on an 8600k, 2x 8GB 3600C16, NVMe, 1Gbps down/400Mbps up.
