You should know that there's a big difference in a software that offers button macro and movement macro.
The whole problem with Bloody mouse and similar is that they offer movement macro which none of the other mice you mention does.
The fact is that the majority of the players buying the bloody mouse does so for its movement macro capability.

Wrong. All gaming mice of all brands can be programmed to do the very same things that the mice from Bloody and A4Tech do. The programs you mention are merely editors - the macros are always loaded on the mouse's memory and executed from there. I can't tell if Razer Synapse and Logitech Gaming already come with macros for no recoil, single button press multi fire, etc., but you can find them easily on the internet or write them yourself.

What could Facepunch do? Anything BUT punish innocent players. Not to mention that this block is stupid anyways and isn't going to stop all the cheating - which Garry, by the way, a confessed Linux hater, said a few months ago was mostly caused by Linux users... when the Linux client hadn't even been working for months.

Now they are taking out theirs and Easy Anti Cheat's incompetence on people who have nothing to do with that. And if you really think that harming lots of innocent players is justifiable in order to punish a few allegedly guilty ones... I won't be able to express what I think about you without breaking these forums rules.

runescape is just a troll with prejudice. Apparently, he generally wanted to shit on the fact that Bloody products are profitable for buying a mouse due to the good ratio of price to the number of buttons for binds. Buying a mouse for the sake of macros is just a complete foolish, because anyone interested in this will do it through ahk, where the operation algorithm is absolutely the same, but you can't detect this with any software or driver, because you can run a script written in ahk that can work by hundreds of inaccessible recognition by game of ways.
People like runescape remind me of "experts" who seriously supported the wave of bans in Dark Souls, which was associated not only with drivers for controllers, but also with the that cheaters could break your character with their attacks and you get ban for this.
There are many approaches to writing a GOOD anti-cheat, or a patrol/replay system. But to support bad decisions of developers when writing such systems is harmful to the players themselves. But apparently some individuals do not care about the real productivity of decisions and instead of sorting out issues (if they want to help), they are simply guided by their prejudices.
