The whole teammate thing would be easy to fix. Haven't looked at the source but Im betting it's like most plugins. So many issues and things that have no purpose that need removed. What's the bounty on this?

Could we get a revival of this plugin or a dev to recreate this plugin? I'll put $250 towards a working plugin of this. Suprised no devs want to recreate at least a paid version of this. Even one paid up front then also sold afterwards. Would benefit endless servers and really the only option to balance raiding on servers that is any good.

I'll bite, $250 is an attractive offer. I have some experience working with raids in Rust from working on the Raid Tracker plugin. When I used to run this plugin on my servers it was full of issues that players abused to get around the limits, if I'm going to tackle this plugin it would need to be a complete rewrite. From what I remember there were issues with players shooting NPCs with exp ammo counting as a raid, players disbanding teams then creating a new team to get around raid limits, fire raids not limiting properly, defending players being unable to destroy a raid base if they have already used up their raid limit and a ton of other quirks.
Maybe we could use this thread to brainstorm some ideas for a new plugin, I have been trying to think of a system to mitigate the abuse to limit raids effectively but Rust is a complex and dynamic game with a lot of variables. What I keep falling back to is instead of tracking raiders by team, track raiders by players authorized on TC or turrets to build associations betweens players.

It's an interesting concept. I'm not sure if anything progressed with Clearshot, Darkorust and Deicide77. But I would also be happy to chip in on the project.

I've been testing the new raid limit on my server for the past couple weeks and ran into a problem. Originally the plan was to create permanent associations for the duration of the wipe between players on the same team and players that have authed on the same code lock. Then all players that are associated will receive the same raid limit cooldowns if anyone within their associated group raids a base. The idea behind the permanent association system is to stop players from disbanding teams to reset their raid limit cooldowns.
All was working well for the first few days of the wipe until a group decided to leave the server and give out their base codes. Then literally everyone on the server became associated with each other and were confused where their raid limits were going since none of their teammates were raiding.
Now I am only associating players if they have been on a team together at any point during the wipe. It seems to be working better, but there are still some loop holes in the raid limit system. Worst one being anyone that has a raid limit can bypass the limit by inviting a solo friend, drop raid weapons to them and guard them raiding a base without being associated/on a team.
You guys are welcome to try it out, I don't think I'll be putting any more effort into the plugin at this point though. What I have does effectively limit raids, but it's far from a perfect solution. It's very hard to build a raid limit system in a game as dynamic as Rust.
