I assumed this would've already been a thing but it's not. I want to set custom tips that appear in the top left corner of the loading screen. If someone could make a plugin for this, or tell me where I could find the game file that contains the current loading screen tips so I could hack something together that would be awesome.

Well it depends on which loading screen you are talking from. When you are loading to server, or when you for example teleporting
The loading messages mod doesn't handle the tips. Only the bar in the middle of the screen.
And Orange, I'm talking about the screen when you're loading the server. The tips in the top left such as "slosh around in water to get rid of radiation".

You could use Infopanel plugin (as i do) to scroll tips in the top right of screen during gameplay
Is there a way to change the tips that show during the loading screen? I would like to modify them and/or add my own that are specific to my server.
Does anyone know of a plugin that can do this? and/or is it possible?

I doubt whether it is possible as you are not fully connected to the server , I think it is purely client sided , you might have some response by F7'ing a "suggestion" to FP , I could be entirely wrong but i dont think so. If you do have some success i would like to know as it would be a usefull tool,
The problem is that even though (for instance) I have a comprehensive server description, a Rules page which they have to agree to, a Welcome message and i use info panel which has scrolling messages , players dont read any of it,

im looking for this config file also and i believe its on the server which i own i want to change the tips to my own text do you know where the file is in the server files. 'also Loading Messages is now messed up but it also displays on the loading screen so i think it is a server file this tips line that appears on the load screen
