Player Administration is causing performance issuesNot An Issue
Hey everyone.
When my Mods are using Player Administration its easily causing major lags on the server.
Does anybody else have this problem? And is there fix for this?

I have the latest plugin and oxide version.

Calling 'PlayerAdministrationSwitchUICallback' on 'PlayerAdministration v1.5.6' took 2794ms
Calling 'PlayerAdministrationSwitchUICallback' on 'PlayerAdministration v1.5.6' took 2684ms
Calling 'PlayerAdministrationSwitchUICallback' on 'PlayerAdministration v1.5.6' took 2735ms
Calling 'PlayerAdministrationSwitchUICallback' on 'PlayerAdministration v1.5.6' took 2841ms
Calling 'PlayerAdministrationSwitchUICallback' on 'PlayerAdministration v1.5.6' took average 9009ms

Thanks a lot

I'll have a look, but yes PA does enjoy it's fair share of CPU cycles at the moment when switching UIs
Thanks a lot! It totally depends on the playercount i would say. With less players i usally don't get these problem.

Greetings Rage
I might need to do some smarter data refreshing
Just opening the plugin causes server fps to drop to nearly zero.
Out2kill

Then I would suggest getting a stronger server.
Perf dips are understandable, but zero just hints towards the server being too weak to handle mods properly.

Nontheless, still working on a performance improvement.

It didn't do this pre yesterdays server update. It's not a hardware problem lol
could maybe causing to big playerfiles this problem? like when you never wipe playerdata etc?

Hmm.. It might. I am working on some performance things here and there, but sadly most of the performance is lost in building the UI itself.
I might make huge methods instead of splitting them up, to remove some method overhead.. Will increase the complexity of maintenance but.... So be it.

We have the same issues where calling take 3+ seconds each and about 4 happen at once. Hitting the server with 12 seconds of stuff causing rubberbanding and lag issues. We disabled the plugin and the server began performing good again.

This issue only came up after the recent Facepunch update.

Thank you for an awesome plugin ThibmoRozier

Well, there you go.. Hope this fixes some of the slowness, doubt it will have a huge impact but it's something
Just asking to make the best decision for our community. Should we just scratch this plugin for the time being? Asking only cause you don't seem confident in the changes to the plugin at this time.
Worked like a charm on the dev server.. YMMV

This plugin causes huge performance problems. Would lag out the entire server. Not sure why and it is not my "Server" that is the issue. I'm running a Intel Core i9 9900K with 64gb of ram. It is a nice plugin, hopefully it will get fixed soon.

^ For more debugging info.. With "It's slow" I can't do shit.
What exact "thing" is slow. what button/action/page. Give me some real world example. Without this info this will just end up being tossed on the "won't fix" pile, which wouldn't help anyone. :)
