Do not teleport from anything that moves.
This is not new to rust - its been happening for ages but players soon learn where they can tp from,and then stop doing it from that point so they dont lose their gear.

I'm well aware, I've been using this along time. This has only started since the forced wipe and like I said, its not from water or things that move as that was my first guess.

I'll release a workaround for this soon.
i use Ntel all the time and not experiencing the issues u have.
This cant be widespread or would be a lot more people complaining

still happening... when u dont wake up, u get higher and higher, after waking up, u get dragged under the map in a very weird cycle lol (when i teleport from a floating plank in the water)
Probably not an issue with the code, but I have a solution to this particular issue. It'll have to wait until I get home though.

u cant code common sense into your plugin - once they do it once it should be a lesson to not teleport from that spot again :)
All of these problems people have listed have been with Ntel for a long time but we get wise and learn where we can and cant TP from.
btw. after last updates there is no 'loading' screen when teleport.

tomhud, I can still prevent it from happening. The issue was I didn't have enough information. Now I think I do :)

Ok guys, try out 1.1.0.

This version will check if the player is dragged under, and then force them back if so. It's not an elegant solution, but should work for the time being.

Let me know your results. I have one more trick up my sleeve. I believe it'll nail it once and for all, too. But there's no way to know for certain without testing it.

The test version below simply doesn't put the player to sleep. If they're being dragged under after waking up, then avoid putting them to sleep period to attempt to avoid it altogether. It's not a nice transition on teleport yet, but it is 1 step closer to being fixed. If you'd like to test it, try this below and let me know if it worked for you or not:

Resolved. This particular bug will be fixed in 1.1.1, and will remove the need to check the player after teleport
is this that same bug that moves players over the map after tp from cargo ship?
