I have never agreed with auto updating especially as i had a bad experience with Player Rankings and connectdb both updating on the same day a few years ago and i (for once) did not check that i should backup my data files and lost the player hours/ranks of all my players, I now check whether it is advisable to backup my configs and data files before installing updates,
A few major (to me) plugins have changed their format and save methods in the last year and i dont know how auto updating would have functioned . Anyway that is it for me on this subject, My original thread was in regard to not being able to find the update notes for the plugin, all the rest is extraneous to my needs but i can see everyone is having fun with it :)
