Can't get clan tags to work in Better ChatSolved
The Clan Tags plugin would provide that, Better Chat does not. I'm unsure if it supports the universal Clans plugin or not, but should.

The Better Chat plugin page states it supports the CLAN mod (I am not using the Clan Tag mod). So I would expect if it supports it; then I should be able to show the clan name within better chat. I am looking for someone to show me how to do it.
Originally I thought Better Chat supported RustIO:Clans but it appears I was wrong AND I just realized that I am using the RustIO:Clans mod still. Is it true that Better Chat does not support this mod; can you confirm that for me @LaserHydra?

The other plugins utilize Better Chat, not the other way around. Better Chat is essentially just the core handling of the chat, other plugins integrate with it and tell Better Chat what to customize as necessary.
The universal Clans plugin is not a replacement to Rust:IO Clans, it's a separate and different plugin. You would need the Clan Tags plugin unless otherwise specified on the plugin's page that you are utilizing.
If they are all compatible, it'd just be a simple download and install under the oxide/plugins folder generally.

I am using BetterChat and Clans together. I was also using ClanTags at the same time but found that it was doubling up people's clan tags in chat, so I deleted ClanTags and it now works perfectly.

Rust. It's fixed now, I removed the plugin Clan Tags and it only puts the tag in once.
Another Rust server owner I know only runs BetterChat and Clans, and has clan tags showing in his server too.
To clear this issue up, the universal clans plugin has Better Chat support built in which means the Clan Tags plugin is not required and only results in duplicate clan tags.
Locked automatically
