Safezone & ParentID Issues

Hello, I would like to start off by saying that your efforts to update these mods is amazing, thanks.

I implemented the updated Zone Manager mod yesterday on my Live server. I had 10 active users at that time. Two things were observed:

1) Safezones - Not sure if it is intended, but the safezones also stop cooking and create issues with the electrical/lights.

2) Parent/ChildIDs - Are crashing the server. I will try to explain exactly how I crashed my server twice. I had a large zone with safezone enabled, I put a smaller zone within it that I didn't want the safezone. I gave the smaller zone the ParentID of the larger zone to bypass the flags from the larger zone. I tried to edit the flags of the smaller zone and the server crashed. When the server came up, I tried again to edit the flags of the child zone and the server crashed again. I deleted the child zone and no further crashes were experienced. I did not capture the console information, my apologies.

With Respect,
Kozak

I want to add on to the Child Zone. My server does kick me for Player Ticks or something like that but I did actually manage to add flags to it. However, the child zone does not take any flags. It's like a default vanilla zone with no flags. So everything is enabled even if you change the flags to say otherwise. For example I disabled PVP, but PVP still exists etcetera.

Same issue occurred to me today, messing with child/parent IDs caused issues with flags not working. Looking to to a clean reinstall later today.

Has this been fixed?  I am still having problems with parent and child ID's not working.

Nope still not fixed

Experiencing the same issue.  The child zone is set up and flags assigned but as soon as a player enters the child zone then it kicks with a packet flood error.    This is an awesome plugin and the parent/child relationship is a good concept but it just doesn't seem to work in practice despite the documentation about it.  If anyone has been able to get this to work I'd love to hear.  Curious if there are limiting factors like the size of zones, # of flags, certain flags that are more prone to the packet flood errors, etc.

Yes I found a way to not kick players by setting max packets per second higher. But this isn't going to fly for most players that will have a mini-heart attack when they lag for 30 seconds straight entering a zone.  The only alternative I have found is to just make 4 zones around the "child" zone and get them lined up as close as possible. Of course it only works with not spherical zones. This plugin has been a blessing otherwise though!
