I really need a way to prevent players from using the backpacks mod when entering a certain zone (using /backpack or console backpack.open keybind).

Basically we have the arena mod by K1llyou and it took our players all of 10 minutes to figure out that when they joined an event (which gives them full kits for that event) they could just dump all the stuff into their backpack, die and respawn, and get a fresh kit and repeat it.

Within hours I had guys with THOUSANDS of top tier weapons and ammo and gear.

All of that could be solved with disabling backpacks in the arena zone

The moment they join an event, force them to TP to the event. It should spawn them in there naked until everyone else joins. (Depending what the number is you have set for the event to start). Then when they are done and TP out it should give them all their stuff back. 

 

Hopefully that's what you mean. I had people finding ways to double their loot by putting it in crates. I did the above and it stopped them.

That's not the issue though.  The event itself gears them up with kits (for example, Gun Game) and they are dumping that stuff into their backpacks and then dying so the event re-hears them again
