I do not have a paid host at moment but for testing purposes would this work local if i install Apache on my computer ??

The plugin does indeed work on local.
For instance, if you are running the web server on the same machine as the rust server with a WordPress installation directly in the public folder you can do it like this:

thanks to murky for help in discord i now have this running 
All stats are working fine - i just need to learn how to use Wordpress now so i can design my own Template with what stats i want on it.
