I just rented a Rust server and I added whitelist to the pluggins, I went to use it and it said I do not have the permission to use that how do I fix that issue. 

To use it how exactly?

I got the pluggin so I can let people I know into the server, but it will not let me add anyone to the list to authorize them to join my server. 

How are you trying to do that exactly?

I am using the command oxide.grant user STEAM64ID whitelist.allow, but after I done that, it told me I do not have permission to do it.

That means you are not admin on that server and would need to either make yourself admin or use RCON.

I made myself admin since I own the server

oh okay I see what might be the problem now, I had to repair the server because of some issue, and it removed me from being an admin.
