The extended magazine doesn't seem to have an effect on the max, if you set 50 as max and add the magazine should it not go up?

This plugin hasn't been updated since the addition of extended magazines. This is likely the reason.

So get rid of this plugin on my server? Abandonned?

Until there is an update, it won't do what you're looking for it to do.
