VPN blocker not kicking/working (IPHub)Solved
Hello, I tried to use the plugin on new Rust, then it loads but it does not kick the player, I guess it could be the website is down? I guess the website is down which it gets gets the ip database from, because the RustAdmin tool which used to detect VPNs gone down, then they had to update it awhile ago, I guess it used the same API/Website as this plugin? How can you/ I get it working again because we really want it, Thanks.
You can enable debug mode and tell me the log messages/output the plugin generates when a player attempts to connect via a VPN.
I have changed it to debug, reloaded the plugin and nothing shows. I guess I need do something else? Where is the log message? Because there is no error/log message in the RustAdmin console.
You have to obtain an API key from one of the supported vendors...

I'm using in Rust Legacy and it shows this. Also using IP Hub.

(14:24:42) | User Connected: Andrew102 (ID removed)

(14:24:42) | [VPN Block] {"ip":"***.***.***.***","countryCode":"AT","countryName":"Austria","asn":42473,"isp":"ANEXIA-AS","block":1,"hostname":"***.***.***.***"}

Then it does not kick the player, I tried with 2 different vpns on 4 different locations and it doesn't kick the player.

It doesn't even show a message in Chat or anything.

Thank you for the debug information

Thanks so much, it works now. Do you think IP Hub or IP Stack is better at detecting VPNs?
No idea, I imagine they are about the same.  Given that neither of the options are entirely free, I thought it would be best to provide alternatives and give server owners a choice about who they spend their money with.
